I have just finished writing the second book about Claws. In the first book, THE REVENGE OF CLAWS, I told the story of my five-week voyage from England to Australia when I was nine. Not long ago, I was visiting the post office when two friends of mine who work there, Cyril and Guy, said they wanted to know what happened AFTER I arrived in Australia. So I thought: why not? I went home and started writing. It turns out to be a very exciting story involving a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants airline called Barrier Reef Airways, operating out of Gladstone and taking visitors out to the Great Barrier Reef in an old second-world-war flying boat called the Beachcomber. You'll never guess what happened to us! Here is what the cover of the new book is going to look like. I'm waiting for proof copies to arrive next week.
