When I am not writing I am painting. My pictures are exhibited and sold at the Emma Butler gallery in St. John's. I love to paint pictures of smooth sea-pounded stones on the shore. Some of the stones have stripes.

 

Sometimes I write for children. I wrote 'Horsy-hops' for Breakwater Books, and then launched a trilogy: Bat Rider, The Yumi Trees, and The Bat Riders of Yumi. 'Rainbow Jane's Comic Book Adventures' came out last year. Rainbow Jane is a brave girl with a pet anteater and a parrot who thinks he is an admiral! I am inspired by my wife Winda.
